Dr. Jeremy Turley
Dr. Turley is one of the Chiropractic Physicians at TRUE HEALTH. He is originally from the south side of Chicago where he spent most of his youth until he moved into the south suburban area to finish out his last two years of high school. During this time, Dr. Turley had aspirations of becoming an orthopedic surgeon and sought out this profession early on while attending the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. However, these aspirations would change when he was introduced to Chiropractic during a presentation while sitting in a professional development class. Soon there after, Dr. Turley interned with Chiropractor and from that point on fell in love with this great profession.

Dean’s List and received many academic awards. Dr. Turley earned his bachelors
degree in Kinesiology at the University

In his spare time, Dr. Turley likes to spend time with his family and friends. He loves exercising, playing basketball, bowling, and reading books.
Dr. Debra Corum-Schifino
Dr. Corum-Schifino is one of the Chiropractic Physicians at
True Health. She is originally from Champaign, Illinois and this is where she
spent her entire childhood on her family’s farm. During high school, Dr. Corum-Schifino
began experiencing back pain due to the poor quality of the seats/desks in high
school. She was introduced to a local Champaign Chiropractor and began
receiving treatments. It was then that Dr. Corum-Schifino knew that
Chiropractic was the field for her. She
loved the fact that she was able to be pain-free without the use of
prescription or over-the-counter medications. Dr. Corum-Schifino researched
what path she would need to take to become this type of health care provider
and soon took on the challenge of becoming a Chiropractic Physician. She too
looked forward to being able to have a positive impact on future patient’s
lives; as hers was impacted.
During her undergraduate years, Dr. Corum-Schifino spent time on the Dean’s List and received many academic awards. Dr. Corum-Schifino earned her bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences at Logan University in Chesterfield, MO and then went on to earn her doctorate degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO in April 2009. During her time at school, she was selected to be one of seven interns given the opportunity to work at the St. Patrick’s Center in downtown St. Louis. There, Dr. Corum-Schifino worked with the overseeing licensed chiropractor to help administer chiropractic care to those less privileged in the St. Louis area. In this environment, Dr. Corum-Schifino was able to demonstrate her leadership skills, competency level, and her ability to effectively care for patients with a multitude of health problems. After performing her school internships, Dr. Corum-Schifino, at graduation, was given the “Health Center Achievement Award” as recognition for her exemplary work.
During her education, Dr. Corum-Schifino
became proficient in several Chiropractic Techniques such as: Gonstead,
Activator, Thompson, Cox Flexion/Distraction, Logan Basic, and Diversified. She
takes pride in finding the right technique for each individual patient. She
strives to educate her patients on making conscious healthy decisions every
day. With her interests in rehabilitation and nutrition, Dr. Corum-Schifino
loves speaking to anyone who is ready and willing to change their life naturally.
Dr. Corum-Schifino has also finished her Acupuncture training in order to provide Acupuncture treatments to her patients in the state of Indiana. She is excited to be able to implement Acupuncture, allowing for even more quality patient care. The results she has seen with this ancient Chinese healing art have been miraculous.
In her spare time, Dr. Corum-Schifino enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She was recently married July of 2011. She enjoys exploring all that the Chicagoland area has to offer and loves exercising, watching movies, and spending time outdoors, while also enjoying a movie indoors.
The doctors at TRUE HEALTH use a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, the doctors are able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
